General Characteristics

Factions are special groups of people where the server's players can be a part of. If you don't want to merely be a civilian, you can join one. By overlaying the factions with real life, they somehow represent a steady workplace.

Factions RPG

The page contains a list with information structured in a table that is composed of:

  • The name of the faction
  • The number of members
  • The minimum level required to apply
  • The applications status (open or closed)
  • The date and time the applications will automatically close (if it has been set by the leader)
  • A button to apply for that faction

Note: Every faction has its name written in their corresponding colour.

How do I apply?

To apply in a faction, you need to press the "Apply" button on this page, according to your desired faction. The website will redirect you to a form that you need to fill in. Afterwards, the application is sent to the faction's leader for examination.

Keep in mind: When you are filling in an application, don't rush or provide too many unnecessary details. Use a warm and appropriate vocabulary, explaining only vital information. A poorly conceived application filled out in a hurry will lower your acceptance chances. You have to take into account that all of your applications are permanently stored in the server's database and can be viewed on your profile.

How do I find out if my application has been answered?

The website features a notification system, so every player is given notice when the leader of a faction provides an answer to their application.

I haven't been accepted, what now?

If a leader hasn't accepted your application, don't worry. Perseverance always leads to results, it's just a matter of time until you'll be accepted into a faction. When you are rejected, carefully read the leader's answer and think about what was missing from your application. After you have comprehended the reason of your rejection, fill in another application. This time, make sure to cover every aspect that was left out before.

Example of an application

  1. Real age: 15 years old.
  2. Played hours per day: 5 hours.
  3. Playing hours interval: Between 18:00 and 00:00.
  4. Explanations for leaving previous factions:
    1. Verdant Family - For your career to be successful in a gang, you have to be present at nearly every war. School was coming up shortly and my schedule couldn't accommodate the war interval, as our time zones are different. I thought it would be better for me to resign, rather than stay in their way.
    2. National Guard - As one of the 5 departments on the server, the faction is very demanding in terms of reliability, carefulness and following the rules to the letter. I have acknowledged my mistakes and have been working towards fixing them. I left National Guard with 3 FWs and 10 FP after failing to fulfil my weekly duties properly.
  5. Explanations for receiving admin punishments: Even though I am ashamed and regret it, I have been punished with a 10-minute mute period for insulting a player. It was a fair punishment issued in one of my few moments of rage.
  6. Your description as a person: Hi! My name is Jack, I live in England and I am a fresher in one of the best high schools in town. I don't think my personal life is of any relevance here, so let's get to the point. It's not in my nature to be violent (physically or verbally), I am usually serious and reliable, but there might be some times when I slip up. That is because I'm also very friendly and skilled in social relationships and thus I enjoy making one or two jokes from time to time. However, I never resort to foul language, as I was brought up regarding it only as a sign of low IQ and loss of arguments. On a different note, I love to work in a team, because you can always hear new opinions and viewpoints.
  7. Are you on the Blacklist of any faction?: No, I am not.
  8. Can you speak English?: Yes, I am a native speaker.
  9. What are your reasons for applying in this faction?: Because of my strong desire to help people, I think Paramedics is the perfect faction for me. Moreover, its members are well-respected and very highly though of by everyone on the server. I want to join this awesome team and assist you with everything I can!
  10. What are your future plans as a player?: I am neither on a gold-rush, nor on a quest for power. All I want is for me to have fun with my friends and be somewhat respected. However, maybe one day I will have the necessary time and will to climb up the ladder and become an admin.
  11. Other useful information for the leader: None, I just want to thank you for taking the time to read my application.

Advices

  • Never write a number of daily played hours higher than the real one.
  • Never let your application span over too many lines, because the leader may become uninterested and it's possible to be rejected in spite of the work you've put into it. Present yourself the way you are, with good and bad traits alike, without taking into consideration a certain template. Describe yourself in a desirable manner, this way you will gain a bit more trust.
  • Never lie in your application. The leader can verify particular details about your account, and if it's proven that you have lied, your application will get rejected. It's not the end of the world if a leader rejects your application but, as stated before, these remain permanently stored and can be viewed by everyone. If you had been rejected for lying in your application, it is possible for the other leaders to reject you again for the sole reason of not being trustworthy. To prevent such situations, never lie in your application.
  • Play at least one hour a day, which is a mandatory requirement in most factions.
