Activitatea zilnică a reporterilor este reprezentată de scrierea ziarelor, redactarea știrilor de ultimă oră, intervievarea jucătorilor și, ocazional, organizarea unor concursuri inedite.

Facțiunea News Reporters și-a câștigat respectul prin modul de a trata anumite situații, dar și prin buna-creștere a membrilor, ce dau dovadă de cei șapte ani de acasă de fiecare dată când au ocazia, prin sprijinirea tuturor jucătorilor care au nevoie de ajutor.
 
Potențialii recruți ai News Reporters trebuie să fie receptivi pe tot parcursul perioadei de teste, să fie foarte atenți la comportament și la modul în care vorbesc cu ceilalți. De asemenea, toți aplicanţii au nevoie, obligatoriu, de principiile de bază ale facțiunii: respectul, atenția, lipsa de orgoliu, capacitatea de a scrie corect din punct de vedere gramatical, principii fără de care nu poți deveni un membru News Reporters.<br />

Also, all the applicants are required to possess the basic principles of our faction: respect, attention, selflessness, the ability to write grammatically correct; without these you cannot become a News Reporters member.<br />
The faction's motor pool consists of 12 ''News Van'' vehicles and one ''Chopper'' helicopter. Their headquarters are located to the west of Las Venturas, in the desert.
