This department is a faction that's emphasising on reliability and discipline, these two characteristics being essential in keeping everyday activities efficient. In order to assimilate more qualities, officers of the Las Venturas Police Department take part in various training exercises that involve teamwork and paying attention.

New members firstly handle traffic and are part of the roads team, being guided by superiors, and so, thanks to activity and ambition, they can be promoted through the ranks, to start fighting criminals, to organise training exercises, to help examine and train new recruits and later on even join the faction's leadership.
