Player working at the quarry

This job has its area of operation in western Las Venturas, on the outskirts. Working in the quarry is dangerous, due to the extremely steep and narrow path workers have to take to complete a route.

Attributions of quarry workers

A worker on the Las Venturas quarry has to load various materials from the upper side of the quarry and transport them on the steep path to its centre. A skill route is considered delivering the materials and returning.

Revenues based on skill, per route

  • Skill 1 - Approximately $295 without bonuses. The average completion time for a route is 132 seconds.
  • Skill 2 - Approximately $315 without bonuses. The average completion time for a route is 123 seconds.
  • Skill 3 - Approximately $260 without bonuses. The average completion time for a route is 93 seconds.
  • Skill 4 - Approximately $275 without bonuses. The average completion time for a route is 91 seconds.
  • Skill 5 - Approximately $385 without bonuses. The average completion time for a route is 93 seconds.

Note: If a player has a premium account, they will receive 50% more.

Algorithm

  • Formula used to determine revenues:
    • Skill 1 - [(286 + random(15)) * premium_coefficient] + job_bonus
    • Skill 2 - [(302 + random(15)) * premium_coefficient] + job_bonus
    • Skill 3 - [(260 + random(15)) * premium_coefficient] + job_bonus
    • Skill 4 - [(274 + random(15)) * premium_coefficient] + job_bonus
    • Skill 5 - [(352 + random(15)) * premium_coefficient] + job_bonus
  • random(15) is a random number between 0 and 15.
  • premium_coefficient is equal to 1 if you don't have a premium account and equal to 1.5 if you do have a premium account.
  • job_bonus is a multiple of 5. When you type in /work, the job_bonus is 5. Each successfully completed route adds 5 to that value. If you leave the vehicle, the variable will reset to 5. The job_bonus will increase by 5 until it reaches the maximum of 50.

Advancement in Skill

  • To advance from skill 1 to skill 2, you need to complete 30 routes.
  • To advance from skill 2 to skill 3, you need to complete 90 routes.
  • To advance from skill 3 to skill 4, you need to complete 210 routes.
  • To advance from skill 4 to skill 5, you need to complete 450 routes.
