Useful Commands: Vehicles

Everyone wants to have a nice, rapid and perfectly functional personal car, but you also need to know how to control your own vehicles. Below you'll find a list of all the command that can be applied to vehicles.

/vehicles

This is like the command centre for all of one's personal vehicles. The /vehicles command has alternate versions to access this centre, such as: /v, /garage and /g. All of these lead to the same place, the command centre. After using one of these, the server will display a list of all your vehicles, following this template:

• ID of the occupied vehicle slot
• Name of the vehicle
• Its status (available, busy, hidden).
• How long until it automatically despawns.

Due to limitations imposed by SA:MP, players with a premium account can spawn up to 4 vehicles at a time, and those without a premium account can spawn up to 2 vehicles at a time.

When selecting a vehicle from the list, the server provides you with a series of options to help you manage your vehicle. Options:

• Information - You will be shown information such as: model type, price, colours, odometer, insurance policies, cost of an insurance policy.
• Locate - A checkpoint will be set on the vehicle's location.
• Two - Your vehicle will be respawned where it was previously parked. This service costs $10.
• Spawn/Despawn - Using this option, you can make your vehicle temporarily appear/disappear from the server.
• Debug - This option is used when your vehicles has been parked inappropriately an cannot be used (example: inside a wall, in the water). The vehicle will be parked in a safe area. Afterwards, use the locating service to find your vehicle.
• Sell - You can sell your vehicle to the Dealership if you are close enough to it.

By default, a player has 4 vehicle slots, but additional ones can be bought from the Shop.

/engine

This command starts or stops a vehicle's engine, if the user is driving it. As a short-cut, you can use the 2 key from your keyboard.

/lock

This is used by vehicle owners to lock or unlock their vehicles. As a short-cut, you can use the N key from your keyboard. The command can only be used when in proximity to the vehicle.

/park

This command marks the vehicle's position and sets it as the spawn point after connecting on the server or when it explodes, sinks or you use the towing service. It can only be used if you're driving the vehicle.

/vehswitch

When typed in, this command will change the vehicle you're currently driving with one that is not spawned.

/carplate

It's used to set a vehicle's license plate. The length of the plate cannot exceed 8 characters.
Example: /carplate B 00 AAA

/carcolor

A player can use this command only if they're driving a personal vehicle near the Car Colour business. After sending the command, they will be teleported with their vehicle inside a garage where they can use the provided menu to select any colour for the car. If the player is not in proximity to the business, a checkpoint will be set.

/buyinsurance

This enables a vehicle owner to buy an insurance policy for the vehicle they're driving. Any vehicle can have a maximum of 5 insurance policies. A vehicle left with no policies cannot be driven until the owner pays the repair costs.

/removetuning

It removes any tuning components attached to the vehicle you're driving:

• Exhauts
• Front bumber
• Rear bumper
• Roof
• Spoilers
• Side skirts
• Wheels
• Hydraulics
• Nitro

/buyvehicle

Only works if you're close enough to one of Dealership's two doors. When sent, the server will teleport you inside a garage from where you can select a vehicle via de provided menu. Moreover, the server puts at your disposal information, such as the price and the top speed of the vehicle, also let's you change its colours and, most importantly, allows you to take it for a test drive. /givekey

Pentru a oferi cuiva cheile propriului vehicul, se folosește comanda /givekey. Comanda utilizează un singur parametru, numele sau ID-ul jucătorului căruia doriți să-i împrumutați cheile vehiculului vostru.
Exemplu: /givekey 135
După oferirea cheilor, cel care a intrat în posesia acestora va putea să folosească comanda /lock asupra vehiculului. Această comandă poate să fie folosită doar din interiorul vehiculului tău.

/changelock

Comanda are ca efect schimbarea încuietorii vehiculului personal pentru ca jucătorii cărora le-ați oferit cheile acestuia, să nu mai poată să descuie, respectiv să încuie vehiculul.

/throwkey

Această comandă se utilizează pentru a arunca setul de chei primite fie prin comanda /givekey din partea unui jucător, fie prin închirierea unui vehicul de la bizurile special amenajate (exemplu: Bike rent). După utilizarea acestei comenzi, nu veți mai dispune de un vehicul închiriat.

/swapcolors

Serverele vă pun la dispoziție două seturi de culori pentru vehiculele voastre, primul set fiind cel primar, iar cel de-al doilea secundar. Prin utilizarea comenzii /swapcolors, se vor inversa culorile vehiculului între ele, ceea ce înseamnă că cea primară va deveni secundară și cea secundară va deveni primară.
