Characteristics

The Crates system give you the possibility to obtain certain advantages with a set success rate by the server in exchange for Gold or Mission Points (MP).
Vehicles resulted as prizes from opening crates cannot be sold to other players and cannot generate income when being sold to the dealership.
In order to buy a crate you need to visit the special location on Mount Chiliad.

Opening crates

In order to open a crate or to view the number of crates owned you need to type /crates.
By selecting a crate from the list, you will spot on the minimap an icon resembling a trophy. You need to go to that location in order to find the crate and open it.
Upon opening the crate you will see an interface where multiple colors will succeed just like on a spinning wheel. Prize colors are: grey, turquoise, blue, purple, red, ordered by value.
To cancel the opening of a crate you can type the command /cancel crate.
