The number of modifications that can be applied on a vehicle differs from a model to another.
Basic components, such as colour, wheels, hydraulics, nitro boost, stereo, are available for all the vehicles. Besides these tuning components, there are also a number of different component groups that are attachable to only certain vehicles.
Example: Fog lights, an option which adds fog lights to your vehicle and it's available only to off-road cars, such as Landstalker and Bobcat.
There are also other components that cannot be mounted on all vehicles:
