Player working as a car mechanic

The location of the mechanic job is located in the north of Las Venturas, in an area specific to this type of job. The mechanic job also has a skill like the other jobs. For more details about the car mechanic job, continue reading this article.

General Information

• Once you use the /work command, you will need to go to the checkpoint located on the server map where you will have to complete one of the 3 minigames:
  • Tow The Car: In this minigame you will have to use left/right click to control the Tow Truck until the tow hook reaches the damaged car. Be careful not to press in the wrong direction and hit the TowTruck against the walls. Android players will be able to use the Y/N keys instead of left/right click to control the towtruck.
  • Adjust the Oil Level: In this minigame you will have to adjust the oil level of the car until it reaches the maximum level, the oil level and the maximum level are chosen randomly, so you will have to lower or increase the oil level until it reaches the maximum value. Be careful not to drain the engine of oil or overfuel it.
  • Mount the Components: In this minigame you will have to mount a set of 3 components on the vehicle in the order specified by the client.
    
    
• The job also offers a set of perks for players with high skill in this:
  • Change Vehicle Color: Players with a minimum skill of 6 in this job will be able to change the permanent color of their vehicle without having to go to Car Color. They can change both Hidden and Non Hidden colors, the prices will be identical as in Car Color. The money paid by players will be redirected to the biz.
  • Tune The Vehicle: Players with a minimum skill of 7 in this job will be able to tune their vehicle without having to go to a Tuning biz. The money paid by players will be redirected to the nearest Tuning business to them at the time of purchasing the components. Not all components will be available at skill 7, they will be unlocked gradually as you advance in the skill. Also in this perk, a discount is applied for vehicle components as follows:
    • Skill 7: Front Bumper, Rear Bumper, Sideskirts, Hydraulics (Discount 5%).
    • Skill 8: Roof, Front Bullbar, Hood, Lamps, Vents (Discount 10%).
    • Skill 9: Spoiler, Wheels, Exhaust (Discount 15%).
    • Skill 10: NOS, Paintjob, Neons (Discount 20%).
      
      
• Mechanics will be able to offer repair and refill regardless of the skill they have at maximum value.

Kit-urile de reparație si alimentare

• Ca să aveți acces la repair și refill propriu trebuie să vă folosiți de niște kituri, kiturile au durabilitate și se vor deteriora la fiecare utilizare.
• Kiturile pot fi cumpărate de la membrii Tow Truck Company, dacă niciunul nu este online le puteți cumpăra de la NPC-ul de la HQ-ul acestora, un checkpoint va fi poziționat acolo dacă nu aveți altul activ deja.
• Prețul kiturilor de la acesta este de $4.000 pentru kitul de reparație și $8.000 pentru kitul de alimentare daca este achiziționat de la un membru Tow Truck Company.
  
• Prețurile kiturilor la NPC sunt ceva mai mari, diferind în funcție de skill-ul jucătorului:
  • Kit de reparație:
    • Skill 3: $15.000;
    • Skill 4 - 7: $12.000;
    • Skill 8 - 10: $10.000.
  • Kit de alimentare:
    • Skill 3: $25.000;
    • Skill 4 - 7: $20.000;
    • Skill 8+: $15.000.
• Membrii Tow Truck Company nu pot vinde kituri colegilor, având deja abilitățile acestea fără să aibă nevoie de un kit.
• Durabilitatea kiturilor depinde de skillul pe care-l aveți, acesta va scădea la fiecare utilizare până devine inutilizabil dupa cum urmează:

    • Skill 1: 14% deteriorare la fiecare utilizare.
    • Skill 2: 13% deteriorare la fiecare utilizare.
    • Skill 3: 12% deteriorare la fiecare utilizare.

    • Skill 5: 10% deteriorare la fiecare utilizare.
    • Skill 6: 9% deteriorare la fiecare utilizare.
    • Skill 7: 8% deteriorare la fiecare utilizare.
    • Skill 8: 7% deteriorare la fiecare utilizare.
    • Skill 9: 6% deteriorare la fiecare utilizare.
    • Skill 10: 5% deteriorare la fiecare utilizare.
  • Durabilitatea kitului de reparație:
    • Skill 1: 14% deteriorare la fiecare utilizare.

Points needed for skill advancement

• Skill advancement is done as follows:
  • To advance to Skill 2 you will need 50 races (for a total of 50).
  • To advance to Skill 3 you will need 50 races (for a total of 100).
  • To advance to Skill 4 you will need 100 races (for a total of 200).
  • To advance to Skill 5 you will need 200 races (for a total of 400).
  • To advance to Skill 6 you will need 250 races (for a total of 650).
  • To advance to Skill 7 you will need 250 races (for a total of 900).
  • To advance to Skill 8 you will need 300 races (for a total of 1200).
  • To advance to Skill 9 you will need 350 races (for a total of 1550).
  • To advance to Skill 10 you will need 350 races (for a total of 1900).
• Each turn at the job will provide players with:
  • Skill 1 - 4: 3 skill points, 3 marathon points and 3 Clan XP.
  • Skill 5 - 6: 2 skill points, 2 marathon points and 2 Clan XP;
  • Skill 7 - 10: 3 skill points, 4 marathon points and 4 Clan XP;

Available Vehicles

• The job provides a list of vehicles that will make your job easier as you advance in skill, the list is as follows:
  • Skill 1 - 2: Utility Van.
  • Skill 3 - 4: Rumpo.
  • Skill 5 - 6: Bobcat.
  • Skill 7 - 8: Burrito.
  • Skill 9 - 10: TowTruck.

Earnings based on skill

• The job is profitable and can be the job of the day.
• Other bonuses such as premium account, job of the day and job boost can be added to these amounts.
• Job payments are as follows:
  • Skill 1: without Premium Account: $90 - $650, with Premium Account: $135 - $975.
  • Skill 2: without Premium Account: $102 - $718, with Premium Account: $153 - $1,077.
  • Skill 3: without Premium Account: $120 - $840, with Premium Account: $180 - $1,260.
  • Skill 4: without Premium Account: $145 - $1,025, with Premium Account: $217 - $1,537.

Use this command to start work in the location required by the server.

/repair

This is the command that repairs your own vehicle using the repair kit and you have to wait 5 minute until the next repair.

/refill

This is the command that will refuel your own vehicle using the refueling kit and you will have to wait 5 minute until the next refueling.

/kits

This is the command that allows you to view the durability percentage of your repair and supply kits.
