The location of the job can be seen in image #2. The Archaeologist's job consists of finding artifacts in various locations specific to the location of the artifacts (see image #3 and #4), respectively following some cleaning and conservation procedures specified in each archaeologist's unique procedure, after the artifact's conservation it will have to be delivered to the Egyptian Merchant (see image #5).

General characteristics
- The job is a legal one, located in the city of Las Venturas in the Lil' Probe Inn area (near HQ National Guard)
and you can work there starting at level 3.
- The job has mainly three activities:
- location of the artefact itself
- compliance with the procedure for collecting and preserving the artefact
- its sale to the Egyptian Merchant
- You can hold a maximum of 10 artifacts at a time, then you have to sell them if you want to create more. They can
also be sold all at once.
- There are four categories of artifacts, each category having 10 nationalities (Romanian, Moldovian, Egyptian,
Russian, Ukrainian, Tunisian, Greek, Italian, Spanish and Chinese).
- The job earns you 1 XP to the marathon if it is active and 1 XP to the clan for each artifact sold.
- You can work in this job with a criminal record (wanted).
- You can view the amount of artifacts you have via the commands, [/inventory], [/inventory], [/backpack]
or [/inv] if you have at least skill 3 on this job or the Craftsman job.
- The maximum skill of this job is 10.
- If the archaeologist fails to locate the artifact and collect it within 10 minutes, he will fail to collect it.
Artifact location time
The time to locate artifacts depends on the skill you have, the time required is divided as follows
- Skill 1 - it takes 19 seconds to locate an artifact.
- Skill 2 - it takes 18 seconds to locate an artifact.
- Skill 3 - it takes 17 seconds to locate an artifact.
- Skill 4 - it takes 16 seconds to locate an artifact.
- Skill 5 - it takes 15 seconds to locate an artifact.
- Skill 6 - it takes 14 seconds to locate an artifact.
- Skill 7 - it takes 13 seconds to locate an artifact.
- Skill 8 - it takes 12 seconds to locate an artifact.
- Skill 9 - it takes 11 seconds to locate an artifact.
- Skill 10 - it takes 10 seconds to locate an artifact.
Archaeological procedure limit
The limit of attempts of the archaeological procedure depends on the skill you have, the limit is divided as follows:
- Skill 1 - is an available attempt, otherwise the artifact will be destroyed.
- Skill 2 - there are 2 attempts available, otherwise the artifact will be destroyed.
- Skill 3 - there are 3 attempts available, otherwise the artifact will be destroyed.
- Skill 4 - there are 4 attempts available, otherwise the artifact will be destroyed.
- Skill 5 - 5 attempts are available, otherwise the artifact will be destroyed.
- Skill 6 - there are 6 attempts available, otherwise the artifact will be destroyed.
- Skill 7 - there are 7 attempts available, otherwise the artifact will be destroyed.
- Skill 8 - there are 8 attempts available, otherwise the artifact will be destroyed.
- Skill 9 - there are 9 attempts available, otherwise the artifact will be destroyed.
- Skill 10 - there are 10 attempts available, otherwise the artifact will be destroyed.
Earnings and features by artifact
- Romanian Artifact: the payout Without Premium Account equals $350, with Premium Account equals $525 and you earn 1
point per skill.
- Moldavian Artifact: the payout Without Premium Account equals $500, with Premium Account equals $750 and you earn 1
point per skill.
- Egyptian Artifact: the payout Without Premium Account equals $650, with Premium Account equals $975 and you earn 1
point per skill.
- Russian Artifact: Earn Without Premium Account equals $800, with Premium Account equals $1200 and you earn 1 point for
the skill.
- Ukrainian Artifact: the payout Without Premium Account equals $950, with Premium Account equals $1425 and you earn 2
points per skill.
- Tunisian Artifact: Earn Without Premium Account equals $1100, with Premium Account equals $1650 and earn 2 points per
skill.
- Greece Artifact: the payout Without Premium Account equals $1250, with Premium Account equals $1875 and you earn 2
points per skill.
- Italian Artifact: the payout Without Premium Account equals $1400, with Premium Account equals $2100 and you earn 2
points per skill.
- Spanish Artifact: the payout Without Premium Account equals $1550, with Premium Account equals $2325 and you earn 3
points per skill.
- Chinese Artifact: the payout Without Premium Account equals $1700, with Premium Account equals $2550 and you earn 3
skill points.
Skill advancement
- Skill 1 to Skill 2: you will need 50 points, for a total of 50 points.
- Skill 2 to Skill 3: you will need 100 points, for a total of 150 points.
- Skill 3 to Skill 4: you will need 200 points, for a total of 350 points.
- Skill 4 to Skill 5: you will need 400 points, for a total of 750 points.
- Skill 5 to Skill 6: you will need 750 points, for a total of 1500 points.
- Skill 6 to Skill 7: you will need 1500 points, for a total of 3000 points.
- Skill 7 to Skill 8: you will need 2000 points, for a total of 5000 points.
- Skill 8 to Skill 9: you will need 3000 points, for a total of 8000 points.
- Skill 9 to Skill 10: you will need 3000 points, for a total of 11000 points.
Benefits of archaeologists working in San Fierro
- You have a 50% chance that your artifact will be upgraded to the next level. (example: Romanian artifact to
Moldovan).
- At higher skills you will have a chance to receive a Skin Fragment:

- Skill 8: 1% Chance
