What are licenses?
Licenses are authorizations that players who are part of a faction like School Instructors can give you in order to have access to certain things or to not receive possible server violations.
How many licenses are there?
There are 5 licenses you can get from a certain level that help you in certain situations: Flight, Navigation, Fisherman, Weapons and Materials.
What does each license help with?
- Driving License:
- You get it when you do the tutorial when registering on the server.
- If you don't have it you won't be able to get into any car.
- Police Department members of the ROADS team may confiscate your driver's license when:
- You are surprised by them using NOS your license is confiscated for 1 hour.
- You are caught by them using hydraulics, your license will be confiscated for 1 hour.
- You are caught by them driving in the opposite direction, your license will be confiscated for 1 hour.
- Exceed the speed limit as follows:
- In the city (legal limit is 100 KM/h):
- 150 KM/h - 199 KM/h: your license will be confiscated for one hour.
- 200+ KM/h: your license will be confiscated for two hours.
- Outside the city (legal limit is 130 KM/h):
- 180 KM/h - 229 KM/h: your license will be confiscated for one hour.
- On the highway (legal limit is 160 KM/h):
- 210+ KM/h: your license will be confiscated for one hour.
- If your license has been confiscated and you break the speed limit again within 15 minutes your license will be confiscated for 3 hours.
- In the city (legal limit is 100 KM/h):
- You are surprised by them with a blood alcohol level of 3.0, your license will be confiscated for 1 hour.
- If you are caught by them parked illegally or blocking traffic, your license will be confiscated for 1 hour.
- Flight License:
- Helps you fly planes and helicopters.
- If you do not have this license you cannot board an air vehicle as a driver.
- You can get the license from level 1' and it is valid for 100 hours.
- Navigation License:
- Helps you be able to drive boats.
- If you do not have this license you cannot get on a boat as a driver.
- You can get the license from level 1' and it is valid for 100 hours.
- Fishing License:
- Helps you not get wanted for the Fisherman job.
- If you don't have this license you will get wanted +1 for every fish you catch.
- You can get the license from level 1' and it is valid for 100 hours.
- Arms License:
- Helps you to be able to purchase weapons from weapon shops, enter different arenas or missions, etc.
- If you do not have this license you will not be able to use weapons.
- You can get the license from level 5' and it is valid for 100 hours.
- The number of hours on this license is quite important because there are special stats for the player:
- Poor Stats: When you have 20 or less hours left.
- Gangster Stats: When you have 21 to 50 hours left.
- Killer Stats: When you have 51 or more hours left.
Statistics Classification:
- Poor stats:
-- You will not be able to shoot and move at the same time.
-- All two-handed weapons will become one-handed weapons.
-- Locking range, accuracy, rate of fire, rate of fire will be lowered and buffed.
- Gangster stats:
-- You will be able to shoot and move at the same time.
-- Your lock range, accuracy, rate of fire, rate of fire are improved.
-- Two-handed weapons are still one-handed weapons.

- Material License:
- Helps prevent you from getting wanted from skill 3 on the Arms Dealer job and prevent department members from confiscating your materials.
- If you do not have this license, you will receive wanted +1 to skill 3, respectively wanted +3 to skill 5, and those from the departments can confiscate all the materials you have on you at the time of the control.
- You can get the license from level 1 and it is valid for 100 hours'.
How do I get the licenses I want?
- Using the command /needlicense in the game to request an instructor, followed by taking a theoretical or practical test for the desired license.
- If no one responds to your /needlicense request within 5 minutes, you will be able to get the license from an NPC located at a School Instructors HQ.
- You can renew your license from NPCs using the command /renewlicense.
Note: Players with level 50+, leaders, helpers, and admins receive the desired license directly without having to take any test. Exception for licenses taken from an NPC, they will be renewed without any test regardless of level.
Validity of licenses
- The number of hours on licenses decreases by 1 for each PayDay you receive, regardless of whether you are sleeping or online.
- Once you get below 50 hours, you will be able to renew your license by taking the license test again (if you are not level 50+, leader, helper or admin).
Price of licenses from instructors
All licenses are priced automatically by the server based on player level as follows.
Pilot License:
- Level 1-9:
- $450 is due at the beginning of the lesson.
- $450 payable upon license acceptance.
- You need $900 total for the license.
- Level 10-49:
- $900 is due at the beginning of the lesson.
- $900 payable upon license acceptance.
- You need $1,800 total for the license.
- Level 50+: $3,600 is payable upon license acceptance.
Navigation License:
- Level 1-9:
- $425 is due at the beginning of the lesson.
- $425 payable upon license acceptance.
- You need $850 total for the license.
- Level 10-49:
- $850 is due at the beginning of the lesson.
- $850 payable upon license acceptance.
- You need $1,700 total for the license.
- Level 50+: $3,400 is payable upon license acceptance.
Fishing License:
- Level 1-9:
- $125 is due at the beginning of the lesson.
- $125 is payable upon license acceptance.
- You need $250 total for the license.
- Level 10-49:
- $250 is due at the beginning of the lesson.
- $250 is payable upon license acceptance.
- You need $300 total for the license.
- Level 50+: $1,000 is paid upon license acceptance.
Gun License:
- Level 1-9:
- $500 is due at the beginning of the lesson.
- $500 is payable upon license acceptance.
- You need $1,000 total for the license.
- Level 10-49:
- $1,000 is due at the beginning of the lesson.
- $1,000 is payable upon license acceptance.
- You need $2,000 total for the license.
- Level 50+: $4,000 is paid upon license acceptance.
Material License:
- Level 1-9:
- $400 is due at the beginning of the lesson.
- $400 is payable upon license acceptance.
- You need $800 total for the license.
- Level 10-49:
- $800 is due at the beginning of the lesson.
- $800 payable upon license acceptance.
- You need $1,600 total for the license.
- Level 50+: $3,200 is payable upon license acceptance.
Price of licenses from NPCs
The price of all licenses is automatically set by the server based on the player's level as follows.
Pilot License:
- Level 1-9:
- You need a total of $4,500 for the license.
- Level 10-49:
- You need a total of $9,000 for the license.
- Level 50+: $18,000 is paid upon receiving the license.
Navigation License:
- Level 1-9:
- You need a total of $4,250 for the license.
- Level 10-49:
- You need a total of $8,500 for the license.
- Level 50+: $17,000 is paid upon receiving the license.
Fishing License:
- Level 1-9:
- You need a total of $1,250 for the license.
- Level 10-49:
- You need a total of $2,500 for the license.
- Level 50+: $5,000 is paid upon receiving the license.
Gun License:
- Level 1-9:
- You need a total of $5,000 for the license.
- Level 10-49:
- You need a total of $10,000 for the license.
- Level 50+: $20,000 is paid upon receiving the license.
Materials License:
- Level 1-9:
- You need a total of $4,000 for the license.
- Level 10-49:
- You need a total of $8,000 for the license.
- Level 50+: $16,000 is paid upon receiving the license.
