San Fiero Police Department is a governmental institution that's fighting criminality on the streets of San Fierro with the help of modern weaponry and their special vehicles. Like the two other local departments, LS Police Departament and LV Police Departament, the SF Police Department is divided into two main teams:

  1. The Roads Team
  2. The S.W.A.T. Team

The Roads team is managing traffic and issuing tickets to players who are going too fast or who are ignoring other traffic rules. The S.W.A.T. team is composed of experienced detectives, who had been promoted from the rank of officer, and who are now taking action to catch the city's criminals.
