General Characteristics

  • Its name, "Pocket Thief", says a lot about what their activities are.
  • To become a pocket thief, you need to have at least level 5.
  • This job is illegal.
  • To get this job, you first need to go to its location (see image #1) and then use /getjob.
  • Players under level 15 cannot be pickpocketed.
  • You cannot steal money from players inside safezones.
  • You cannot steal money from AFK players, regardless of where they are.
  • You cannot steal money from bank accounts, only money from one's "pocket".
  • A player may be pickpocketed only if they are NOT inside an interior.
  • A player may not be pickpocketed if they are inside a vehicle.
  • If a police officer is pickpocketed, they may use the /su command (available to department members) and give the thief a Wanted level 3 (with the right to surrender) for Pickpocketing.
  • The victim of a successful pickpocketing may use /call 112 to give the thief a Wanted level 1 (with the right to surrender) or kill the thief in order to get all their money back.
  • Advancement in skill is rewarded with 10 Gold per skill.

Advancement in Skill

  1. To advance from skill 1 to skill 2, you need 60 pickpocketing attempts.
  2. To advance from skill 2 to skill 3, you need 60 pickpocketing attempts.
  3. To advance from skill 3 to skill 4, you need 120 pickpocketing attempts.
  4. To advance from skill 4 to skill 5, you need 240 pickpocketing attempts.

Rate of Success

Based on skill, the thief has:

  1. Skill 1 - a 30% rate of success.
  2. Skill 2 - a 50% rate of success.
  3. Skill 3 - a 65% rate of success.
  4. Skill 4 - a 80% rate of success.
  5. Skill 5 - a 100% rate of success.

Revenues based on skill

  1. Skill 1 - $520.
  2. Skill 2 - $640.
  3. Skill 3 - $760.
  4. Skill 4 - $880.
  5. Skill 5 - $1000.

Note: You receive this money only if you successfully execute the pickpocketing (according to the rate of success). However, the number of pickpocketings required for advancing in skill goes down regardless of success.

Algorithm

  • Formula used to determine revenues: (400 + 120 * skill + random(10)) * premium_coefficient.
  • Example (skill 1 - without premium account): (400 + 120 * 1 + random(10)) * 1 = 520 + random(10), which means you will receive a random amount of money ranging from $520 to $530.
  • premium_coefficient is equal to 1 if you don't have a premium account and equal to 1.5 if you do have a premium account.
  • random(10) is a random number between 0 and 10.
