Verdant Family este o familie de origine italiană situată în orașul Los Santos.
Această familie are ca ocupații ilegale precum asasinarea persoanelor ce îi doresc răul, traficul de arme cât și de droguri, spălarea de bani și bătălia pentru conducerea orașului.
Fiecare membru nou recrutat de ”Capo Crimini” este primit cum se cuvine. Pentru a ocupa un loc în sânul familiei trebuie să dispui de respect și seriozitate. Dacă ai fost acceptat trebuie să susții două probe, una teoretică și una practică.
Mafia pune un accent deosebit pe ambele probe, ceea ce înseamna ca pentru a fi un bun mafiot trebuie să înțelegi că proba teoretică este importantă, iar cea practică este crucială.
